This workshop continues the series of LHC related meetings organized in Chile: www.fis.utfsm.cl/hep2006

The program of the Workshop will address a broad range of topics of high-energy particle physics, in particular:

¬ The Standard Model and beyond (supersymmetry, grand unifications, extra dimensions, leptoquarks, etc): Theory and experimental searches.
¬ Astroparticles and Cosmology.
¬ Neutrino physics and astrophysics.
¬ Cosmic rays.

It will include both theoretical and experimental issues.
Particular emphasis will be placed on the forthcoming experiments
at LHC and the related theory. However, presentations of physics
results from other accelerator facilities and non-accelerator based
experiments are strongly encouraged. Theory talks are expected
to cover and go beyond the scope of the current and forthcoming
experiments in the area.
The aim of the workshop is to bring together young and senior scientists,
theorists and experimentalists, to review the recent progress in High
Energy Physics, in particular related to the advent of LHC
The registration fee of USD200 includes the cost of lunches,
cofeebreaks and local transportation (hotel-UTFSM-hotel). It is expected
to be paid in cash upon registration.
Students and young scientists. Limited funds for support of students
and young scientists presenting a talk or poster are available.
